AWAA’s launch has been recognized as a Top Story by WineBusiness Monthly in its 2025 Year in Review.

Since its launch in Spring 2025, AWAA has engaged in 9 collaborative events with cultural, community, and culinary organizations such as the de Young Museum, Japan Society (New York), La Mar Cocina Peruana, Chinatown Community Development Center, and the Asian Pacific Fund, among others. Through AWAA’s activities, over 3,475 people have been introduced to the wines of Asian owned and affiliated wineries.

“We are incredibly honored by this significant recognition,” said Susan R Lin, Master of Wine, President and Co-Founder of the Asian Wine Association of America. “We are truly grateful for the support we’ve received from the community. We wouldn’t be here without the remarkable efforts and passion of our Board of Directors, our Advisory Council, and all our Members, collaborators, and supporters.”

AWAA will continue striving to uplift Asians in wine and diverse voices in the industry. With your enthusiasm and continued support, we will go far together.
